Short answer:<\/strong> Each 25ml MoveOn sachet carries 11 natural actives built around three patented ingredients: UC-II®<\/strong> undenatured type II collagen at 40mg, Ovomet®<\/strong> eggshell membrane (the source of collagen types I, V and X, elastin, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine and chondroitin) and BonePep™<\/strong> hydrolysed egg yolk peptides paired with vitamin D3, plus turmeric at 500mg<\/strong>. The doses are the ones used in the published trials on those exact compounds, which is the whole reason it is a liquid: in pill form this would be six to eight large capsules a day. The three patented actives<\/h2>\n

UC-II® undenatured type II collagen, 40mg (patented in the USA)<\/h3>\n

This is the ingredient people misunderstand most. It is not a collagen supplement in the “supply raw material” sense; 40mg could not supply anything meaningful. It is an immune modulator. A small dose of undenatured (native) type II collagen interacts with immune tissue in the gut — a mechanism called oral tolerization — and signals the body to stop treating its own joint collagen as a threat. That is a different axis from supply, and it is why the effective dose is milligrams rather than grams.<\/p>\n

The dose in the sachet is the dose from the research: 40mg. In a 191-person, 180-day randomised trial, 40mg of UC-II® outperformed 2,700mg of glucosamine and chondroitin on the standard joint scores (WOMAC, VAS and stiffness), and had separated significantly from placebo by day 90, with the gap widening to day 180. Ovomet® eggshell membrane (patented in Spain)<\/h3>\n

The membrane between an eggshell and the egg is a naturally occurring connective-tissue matrix. Ovomet® is that membrane, processed so it can be absorbed, and it is the source of seven of MoveOn’s eleven actives: collagen types I, V and X, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and glucosamine and chondroitin. The point of a matrix rather than a list of isolated compounds is that these components arrive together, in the proportions connective tissue uses them. This is also why MoveOn users usually stop buying a separate glucosamine bottle: it is already in there, naturally.<\/p>\n

BonePep™ hydrolysed egg yolk peptides with vitamin D3 (patented in Japan)<\/h3>\n

The third patented active is aimed at the part of a joint almost every other product ignores: the bone beneath the cartilage. BonePep™ is a peptide fraction from egg yolk studied for its effect on bone metabolism markers, paired with vitamin D3 because bone formation depends on it. Cartilage sits on bone; supporting the cartilage while the bone underneath is losing density is supporting the roof while the foundation shifts.<\/p>\n

Turmeric at 500mg<\/h2>\n

Turmeric is the one ingredient here you can find in any pharmacy, and the reason it is worth a section is the dose. The research on turmeric for joint comfort uses around 500mg; most shelf capsules carry 100–200mg.
