The first detox tea feels like it works. By the third box, you’re bloated again and wondering if it’s you. It isn’t — it’s the layer the tea works at.
What detox teas actually do
Most detox teas move out waste that has already accumulated. That can feel like progress for a few days. But they do nothing about why waste keeps accumulating — so as soon as you stop, everything rebounds.
The same trap catches probiotics and fibre
Probiotics need a well-digested gut environment to settle in; poured into a gut full of fermenting residue, most strains never establish. Extra fibre without the enzymes to process it (cellulase, hemicellulase) often just ferments — which is why fibre drinks can make bloating worse.
Symptom layer vs root layer
Teas flush what’s there. Probiotics try to build on unstable ground. Fibre adds bulk. None of them fix the upstream problem: food not being fully broken down in the first place. That’s an enzyme job — and enzyme output declines naturally with age.
Fix the order of operations
Enzymes first, so meals break down completely. Then cleansing support has less to clean, probiotics have room to work, and nutrients actually reach your cells. This “root first” sequence is exactly how SPIRO Plus is built — 17 broad-spectrum enzymes + dual spirulina + chlorella CGF in one daily chewable. The studies behind each pairing are on The Science page.
Supports healthy digestion and nutrient absorption. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Check your pack is genuine
Every official pack carries an anti-counterfeit QR code on the back. Scan it and key in the security code (you get one try), and the page tells you whether the pack is original.
