Description
What is ZENSO Kuro Shuga?
ZENSO Kuro Shuga is the carb-blocking step of the ZENSO Kuro routine by Wellous. It is a cherry-blossom flavoured chewable tablet made with L-arabinose and Cissus quadrangularis extract, on a base of 3-year fermented Japanese Kurozu black vinegar. You chew one tablet before lunch and one before dinner. It helps your body digest and absorb fewer carbs and less sugar from that meal, so you can manage your weight without giving up your favourite rice, noodles or bread.
Why people take Kuro Shuga
Everyday meals in Singapore are built on carbs. Rice or noodles are the main dish, side dishes are small, and there is often kueh, cake or a sweet drink after. Cutting carbs completely is hard to keep up, and your body still needs them for energy, which is why strict low-carb diets so often end in a rebound. Kuro Shuga lets you keep your usual plate and works on the extra starch and sugar that come with it.
- Blocks carbs and starch: CQR-300® Cissus quadrangularis and white kidney bean help slow the enzymes that break starch down, so fewer carbs are absorbed.
- Blocks sugar: L-arabinose helps block sucrase, the enzyme that digests table sugar.
- Fewer sweet cravings: gymnema helps dull the sweet taste of sugar, so desserts and sweet drinks tempt you less.
- Less turned into fat: by limiting the carbs and sugar you absorb, it helps reduce how much ends up stored as body fat.
What’s inside Kuro Shuga
Each tablet combines Kurozu with seven active ingredients. The amount of each is printed on the pack.
- Kurozu black vinegar: Japanese black vinegar fermented for 3 years in Kagoshima, rich in amino acids, organic acids, vitamins and minerals that support your metabolism.
- CQR-300® Cissus quadrangularis extract: a patented extract of the plant known as devil’s backbone. It helps slow the enzymes that digest starch, sugar and fat, and helps curb appetite.
- L-arabinose: a natural low-calorie sweetener found in fruits and grain husks that helps block the digestion of table sugar.
- White kidney bean powder: a popular carb blocker that helps block starch digestion and keeps your appetite in check.
- Gymnema sylvestre extract: an Ayurvedic herb used in India for over 2,000 years to help reduce the desire for sugary foods.
- Green tea extract: rich in antioxidant polyphenols; supports your metabolic rate.
- Chromium chloride: an essential trace mineral that supports normal carbohydrate metabolism.
- Okinawa lesser yam powder: helps you feel full, reduces hunger and supports gut health.
How to take Kuro Shuga
Chew 1 tablet 30 minutes before lunch and 1 tablet 30 minutes before dinner. That is 2 tablets a day, so one bottle of 60 tablets lasts 30 days. Keep the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Kuro Shuga is one step of the ZENSO Kuro routine. It pairs with Kuro Oiru, the fat blocker taken at the same times, and Kuro Daitto, the meal replacement shake. If you want the whole routine in one order, the ZENSO Lite, Advance and Pro programmes bundle these steps together.
Who it suits (and who should check first)
Kuro Shuga is made for adults managing their weight who eat plenty of rice, noodles, bread and other carbs, love sugary drinks and desserts, or sit for long hours with little exercise.
- Pregnancy, breastfeeding or medication: consult your doctor before you start.
- Keep eating balanced meals: Kuro Shuga works alongside your meals. It does not replace them.
