It is designed to support a weight-management routine alongside balanced meals and daily activity; it is not a medicine, and results vary. Halal is per product. To start small, try the evening fibre sachet alone: see ZENSO Kuro Kosen on our Malaysia store.
We sell ZENSO; this seller’s review uses only our live Malaysian product pages.

What is ZENSO?
ZENSO is a family of five Kuro products (Daitto, Shuga, Oiru, Mizu and Kosen), sold singly or in 30-day sets; GLPro adds a Korean red-ginseng drink. The “Kuro” in every name is Kurozu, a Japanese black vinegar from Kagoshima.
It is meant to support weight management alongside balanced meals and daily activity, without calorie counting or meal prep. Each set includes a shaker, weight scale, measurement tape and the Zenso app.

The four Kuro singles and Kuro Kosen
- Kuro Daitto (meal replacement): one sachet in 200 ml of water gives about 130 kcal, around 10 g of protein, fibre and 18 vitamins and minerals, no added sugar; at breakfast, in place of the meal.
- Kuro Mizu (botanical drink): 10 ml of plum and berry with CactiNea™ prickly-pear extract, juniper berries and Kurozu, taken on waking.
- Kuro Shuga (chewable): cherry blossom and bamboo salt, with CQR-300® Cissus quadrangularis, L-arabinose and white kidney bean; before lunch and dinner.
- Kuro Oiru (chewable): rose milk, with Morosil® red orange extract and chitosan; before lunch and dinner.
- Kuro Kosen (fibre sachet): soluble wheat fibre with konjac and prune essence, for the evening.
Check each box for the full ingredient list.
How do you take ZENSO?
About five minutes a day:
- On waking: Kuro Mizu, straight from the sachet.
- Kuro Daitto: one sachet shaken with 200 ml of water in place of a meal — mornings on the Lite, Advance and Pro pages, two shakes a day on the GLPro page; follow your set’s box.
- Before lunch and dinner: one Kuro Shuga and one Kuro Oiru, chewed without water, timed as directed on each box.
- Evening: Kuro Kosen, one sachet in water 30 minutes after dinner or before sleep.
- GLPro: one GLPro Core bottle a day, a three-week course of 21 bottles.

Is ZENSO Halal?
Certificates are issued per product, and for Kuro Daitto per flavour:
- Kuro Mizu, Shuga and Oiru: certified Halal by JAKIM; a JAKIM panel laboratory detected no porcine DNA.
- Kuro Daitto: Chocolate and Vanilla Macadamia are certified Halal by JAKIM; Coffee, a newer flavour, is not on that certificate, so we do not call it Halal.
- Kuro Kosen: its certificates include Halal certified, issued for the Prune edition, with a matching set for the White Peach sachets.
- GLPro Core: our GLPro page states no Halal certificate, so we claim none.
Need Halal? Choose Chocolate or Vanilla Macadamia Daitto.
Side effects and who should check first
Our pages flag these cautions:
- Everyone: pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or managing a medical condition? Check with your doctor first.
- Kuro Daitto: contains milk and soy (not lactose-free); Coffee has about 120 mg of caffeine a sachet, so skip it if caffeine-sensitive and take iron supplements 2 hours apart.
- Kuro Oiru: contains chitosan from crustacean shells, so not for anyone allergic to shellfish.
- Kuro Shuga: take the stated dose (the label notes excessive use can have a laxative effect); with known allergies, ask a doctor first.
- Kuro Mizu: may mean more toilet trips in the morning, so take it on waking, not at night; sudden, painful or lasting swelling needs a doctor, not Kuro Mizu.
- Kuro Kosen: with coeliac disease, check with your doctor before starting.
- GLPro Core: our GLPro page says it “is not intended to treat any condition or to replace prescription medication or professional medical advice”.
Does ZENSO work? What to expect
ZENSO gives you a routine; results depend on your starting point and habits. The Kuro pages say results vary from person to person and are best with a balanced diet and exercise; our set pages give no kilo figure because starting points differ, so track your baseline with the tape and app.
It is not a medicine: NPRA classified Kuro Daitto, Mizu, Oiru and Shuga as foods, so they carry no MAL number, and SGS screened each for 365 drugs with none detected. Medical weight management is a job for your doctor.
