If you feel unwell after a sachet, stop and see a doctor.
Most questions about TIGROX side effects come down to three things: what is in the sachet, who should check with a doctor before the first box, and what to do if something does not agree with you. This guide answers each one using only what our TIGROX Tiger Milk King Malaysia page and Wellous’s own product material say.
What is in one sachet
Each box holds 20 sachets of 20 ml, in Calamansi or Loquat flavour. Our Malaysia product page lists the same core in both flavours:

- Tiger milk mushroom (Lignosus rhinocerus, cultivated), 625 mg
- Inulin (a prebiotic fibre), 500 mg
- Licorice root water extract
Wellous’s TIGROX brochure for the Loquat version also names loquat, crystal pear and vitamin C as supporting ingredients.
The complete ingredient list for your flavour, in label order, is printed on the box. Read it before your first sachet, and if you have ever reacted to any ingredient on it, do not take it and show the box to your doctor or pharmacist.
What to watch for and when to stop
TIGROX Tiger Milk King is a food, not a medicine, and the serving on the box is one sachet a day. Keep to that serving rather than taking extra sachets.
- If you feel unwell after a sachet, stop taking it and see a doctor. Bring the box so the doctor can read the ingredient panel.
- Mushroom allergy: our product page is clear on this: “If you have a known mushroom allergy, don’t take it.”
- Before you drink it: check the expiry date on the box and scan the anti-counterfeit QR code, so you know the box is genuine and in date.
Who should ask a doctor first
- Pregnant or breastfeeding: speak to your doctor or midwife before starting. There is no human pregnancy trial for tiger milk mushroom, so this is a decision to make with your own doctor.
- Children: the published human study was run in adults, so ask your paediatrician first and follow their advice on serving size.
- Taking prescription medicine: keep taking what your doctor prescribed and ask your doctor or pharmacist before adding TIGROX.
- Mushroom allergy: do not take it.
TIGROX Tiger Milk King contains licorice root extract. If you have high blood pressure, heart or kidney problems, or take medicine for blood pressure, ask your doctor before taking it.
Can you take it every day?
Yes – the serving is daily. Our Malaysia product page describes it as “One 20ml sachet a day”, and in Bahasa Malaysia: “Satu sacet sehari — koyak dan minum, tanpa perlu dibancuh.” One box of 20 sachets lasts 20 days at that serving.
On how long to keep going, the page says: “Do I have to take it forever? No, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a subscription you resent.” If you take it for longer, keep to one sachet a day and tell your doctor at your next check-up, especially if you take other medicine.

Halal, NPRA and the QR check on the box
Our Malaysia product page lists TIGROX Tiger Milk King as “NPRA-notified, GMP-manufactured, Halal-certified”. In NPRA’s product classification letter to Wellous Sdn. Bhd., TIGROX Tiger Milk (botanical beverage, loquat and tiger milk mushroom, liquid in sachet) is classified as a food product, not a product controlled by the Drug Control Authority.
Every official box carries an anti-counterfeit QR code on the back. Scan it and key in the security code (you get one try), and the page tells you whether the box is original.
