A box holds 30 sachets, 15 Prune and 15 White Peach. It can be paired with SPIRO Plus, whose page says it pairs well with probiotics, vitamins and fibre. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or have coeliac disease, ask your doctor first — see ZENSO Kuro Kosen on our Malaysia store.
Already on SPIRO Plus? The pairing section answers whether to add Kuro Kosen. We sell both; every product fact here is from our live Malaysian pages.

What is Kuro Kosen?
Kuro Kosen is the evening fibre sachet of the ZENSO range, and our page is plain about what it is: a fibre supplement. You can take it on its own (the page calls it a reasonable place to start), and ZENSO Pro has two boxes built in.
What is in each sachet?
The ingredient line on our page reads: mixed soluble wheat fibre with konjac and prune essence. Behind those words are two named fibres: Nutrallax®, a branded soluble wheat fibre, and konjac glucomannan. Both flavours come in every box:
- Prune (15 sachets): prune extract alongside the fibre base, with a deeper, slightly tart taste.
- White Peach (15 sachets): the same fibre base in a lighter, floral profile.
Worried by the word “wheat”? The page explains that soluble wheat fibre is the fibre fraction, not the protein. Check the box for the full ingredient list.
How do you take it, and how long does a box last?
One sachet a day, mixed with water, 30 minutes after dinner or before sleep. Both flavours dissolve in water and are best served chilled, and you can alternate them however you like. Be generous with water: the page says it works better the more you drink, and advises drinking more water than feels necessary in the first fortnight.
At one sachet a day, a 30-sachet box lasts 30 days. Our price starts from RM320 a box.
Is it a laxative? Side effects and who should check first
No: there is no stimulant laxative in it. The soluble fibre draws in water and supports comfortable regularity rather than forcing a bowel movement, and it does not build tolerance.
Our Malaysian page names no side effects, which is not the same as having none. Check with a doctor first if:
- you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication;
- you have coeliac disease, even though each flavour has a gluten-free certificate;
- you have a wheat or other food allergy (read the box label too).
Stop and see a doctor if any discomfort lingers; ongoing pain, bleeding or a lasting change in bowel habit needs a medical check, not more fibre.
Is Kuro Kosen Halal and gluten-free?
Our page shows five certificates for Kuro Kosen: free from 365 drugs, free from heavy metals, a clean microbiological panel, gluten free and Halal certified. They are issued for the Prune edition, and the page says the White Peach sachets in the same box carry their own matching set; on gluten, it adds that each flavour carries its own third-party gluten-free certificate. The page names no Halal certifying body, so neither do we.
Can you take Kuro Kosen with SPIRO Plus or ZENSO Advance?
SPIRO Plus: yes. Kuro Kosen is a fibre supplement, and our SPIRO Plus page lists fibre, alongside probiotics and vitamins, among the things it pairs well with. Neither is a stimulant laxative. SPIRO Plus is a lemon chewable taken without water, suggested before bed (after a meal works too); Kuro Kosen is mixed into water after dinner or before sleep. Take each as directed on its own pack. On prescription medication? The SPIRO Plus page asks for about an hour’s gap, and a word with your doctor first if you are pregnant, nursing or managing a condition.
ZENSO Advance: yes. Our page says the two are designed to run together: Advance covers the morning and the steps before lunch and dinner, Kuro Kosen the night. ZENSO Pro already includes two boxes.
What to expect, and when
The page’s own timeline is modest: digestive comfort and regularity usually settle within the first week or two, and individual results vary. That is all we claim for it. It suits anyone wanting an easy evening fibre habit, less so anyone after a fast result or unwilling to drink the extra water.
