It is made to help a busy mind switch off, so you fall asleep more easily, sleep deeper and wake up refreshed. You drink one sachet about an hour before bed; SGS found none of 365 drugs in it, it carries a JAKIM Halal certificate, and it is lactose-free by ALS testing but contains milk protein. Everyone is different, so judge it over 60 nights. Our price is RM239 for 20 sachets: see RELAZZ on our Malaysia store.
We sell RELAZZ, so this review sticks to what you can check on the label and in the lab papers on our product page. The second half covers Lactium on its own.
What is RELAZZ, and what is in one sachet?
RELAZZ is the AEMIS bedtime drink that helps a busy mind switch off, so you fall asleep more easily, sleep deeper and wake up refreshed. Each 20 ml sachet holds Lactium® milk protein hydrolysate, fermented rice germ extract, sour date seed extract, hops extract and L-theanine (from corn extract), on a kiwi base. What each part does, in our page’s words:
- Lactium®: a milk peptide that supports GABA, your brain’s calming messenger.
- Fermented rice germ and sour date seed: help settle an overworked mind at bedtime. Sour date seed is recorded in the Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing.
- Hops: used in Europe for centuries to relax before sleep.
- L-theanine: a natural amino acid that helps you unwind before bedtime and fall asleep more easily.
- The base: light and a little sour. Ready to drink, no water, no mixing.
A different capsule product has a similar-sounding name. RELAZZ is the 20 ml AEMIS drink in sachets, not a capsule.
What is Lactium, and how does it help with sleep and stress?
Lactium® is a milk protein hydrolysate from France, made from milk collected at night. In plain terms, casein, the main protein in cow’s milk, is broken into smaller pieces called peptides. One of them, usually called alpha-casozepine, is the part researchers focus on, because it appears to act on GABA, the brain’s main calming messenger. Our page says its bioactive peptide supports GABA, your brain’s calming messenger.
Lactium has been studied for stress and sleep quality, mostly in small studies, and results vary between people. It is a gentle food ingredient, not a sedative: it helps you wind down rather than knocking you out.
Lactium dose, side effects and lactose
Dose. Lactium is used in drinks, capsules and tablets, and the amount differs by product. Searches such as “Lactium 150 mg” come from standalone capsules that print a milligram figure on the label. There is no single dose that fits every product, so follow the label of the one you buy and do not stack several Lactium products. Our page does not state the Lactium amount per sachet; the direction is simply 1 sachet about an hour before bedtime.
Side effects. Lactium is made from milk, so the clear group who should skip it is anyone allergic to milk. Our page lists no other specific side effects, and we will not claim any drink has none. Ask your doctor first if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or on medication.
Lactose. Lactose intolerance and milk allergy are different things. ALS laboratory testing found no lactose above its limit of reporting (0.1 g per 100 g). RELAZZ still contains milk protein. So if you only avoid lactose, RELAZZ can suit you; if you are allergic to milk protein, it does not.
Habit-forming? Lactium is a food peptide, not a drug. Our page describes RELAZZ as not a drug, and no dependence.
Is RELAZZ a sleeping pill? Will you wake up groggy?
No. RELAZZ is a botanical beverage, not a sleeping pill. SGS tested it for 365 drugs, sedatives included, and found none. It is made to help you wake up refreshed and alert, not dragging yourself out of bed.
If you take prescribed sleep medicine, do not stop it or combine it with anything new without asking your doctor. And if poor sleep has lasted for weeks, or you snore loudly and wake up gasping, see a doctor: RELAZZ is a bedtime drink, not a medicine for sleep disorders.
How and when to drink RELAZZ, and when you notice a difference
About an hour before bed, every night. Shake the sachet, tear it open and drink it all. The same time each night helps your body settle into the routine. Pair it with the basics: phone down, lights low. It is made for every night, one sachet an hour before bed, with no dependence. One box covers 20 nights.
Our page sets out the timing honestly: everyone is different. In box 1 (nights 1-20) your wind-down gets easier; by box 3 (nights 41-60) you have a sleep routine you can count on. We suggest one sachet every night for at least 60 nights (3 boxes). Results vary from person to person.
Is RELAZZ halal, and does it need a MAL number?
Yes, it is halal. The JAKIM Halal certificate names AEMIS RELAZZ (MS 1500:2019), and Halvec Laboratories, a JAKIM panel laboratory, found no porcine DNA in it.
It has no MAL number, and it does not need one: RELAZZ is a food, not a drug. NPRA, the Ministry of Health’s pharmaceutical regulator, classified it as a food product, and the Ministry’s Food Safety and Quality Division raised no objection to its label.
Which drinks contain Lactium?
Lactium is an ingredient sold to many brands, so you will find it in capsules, tablets, milk-based drinks and ready-to-drink sachets. On a label, look for “milk protein hydrolysate” with the Lactium® mark. RELAZZ pairs it with four other ingredients in one ready-to-drink sachet.
